Issue 10 - Legacy

Made with Some-Ideas (RIP)

A double-sided exploration of legacy, examining where football has been and where it’s going, featuring David Beckham.

SoccerBible Issue 10 “Legacy” frames David Beckham as a bridge between football history and the evolving cultural game. The issue is a dual-narrative: one half rooted in soccer history, heritage and classic style; the other half alive with influence, innovation, and culture pushing forward. From celebrated boots and legendary matches to new voices, fashion, and creative energy, the magazine maps the tension between looking back and moving on.

The design follows that same split in attitude. The front cover shows Beckham in a steady, heroic posture, paired with classic gold accented typography and a gloss layer listing his achievements. Flip it over and the shift is stark. Becks turned upside down, rendered in a sharp red-and-blue duotone that forces a reset. Our design and paper stock also followed this shift; one half measured and historic, the other restless and experimental.
