The Jordan Mars 270 reimagined four classic Jordans through the lens of Mars Blackman, Spike Lee’s iconic character. The shoe fused heritage and Air Max innovation, pulling decades of culture into one bold upper. That spirit of collision shaped our approach: a raw concrete plinth acting as an animated archive of Jordan legacy and New York grit.
A story built through graphics; chainlink, Brooklyn lettering, Mars’s chain, textures and panels from the Jordan I, IV, V and VI, a map carved from the shoe’s own 270 Air unit. Each side of the plinth telling a different chapter. Four spikes and an Air bag complete the display, turning the product’s defining feature into its stage.
