The North Face’s iconic outerwear, shaped by the elements it’s built to face.

Icons of Exploration is a campaign built around three core qualities of The North Face outerwear—waterproofing, warmth, and protection. The intent was to create a unified visual language that could express these elemental benefits through a single, cohesive world. Rather than treating each product as an isolated feature story, the campaign positioned them as tools that enable exploration itself: garments engineered to meet the environment head-on, whether in rain, cold, or storm.

We built the campaign with a mix of CGI environments and studio photography, allowing each theme to play out in a controlled elemental scene. Realistic water simulations bounced off jackets, while ice and snow accumulated naturally on fabric, creating still and motion assets that behaved as if they were captured outdoors. These visuals extended across digital ads, social media, global toolkits, and retail windows, giving teams a consistent center to execute against. The result is a fully produced campaign spanning motion, image, and environment. A cohesive expression of how The North Face designs for the elements.
